California Civil Code (CCC) §1793.22 is part of California’s “Lemon Law” and outlines the requirements for manufacturers of new vehicles that are repeatedly unable to be repaired to conform to their express warranties. Under this law, if a manufacturer cannot repair a vehicle after a reasonable number of attempts, they must either replace the vehicle or provide a refund to the buyer.
